RESIDENTIAL RECLADDING
Recladding Auckland Homes
Professional recladding work, managed from start to finish.

Recladding Done Properly
Recladding is more than replacing the exterior of a home. It is an opportunity to address the condition of the existing building, improve it's weather protection and give the home a completely renewed exterior.
At Bracey Builders, we manage the building work from preparation and removal through to the new cladding, finishing and associated works. We work carefully around existing homes and coordinate the specialist trades required to complete the project properly.
When Does a Home Need Recladding?
Every Property is different. Recladding may be considered when existing exterior cladding has deteriorated, when weather-tightness issues need to be addressed, or when an existing home's exterior is being substantially upgraded.
EXISTING CLADDING
Deteriorated or damaged exterior cladding may require replacement as part of a wider renovation.
EXTERIOR RENOVATION
Recladding can form part of a wider renovation, providing an opportunity to renew the home's exterior.
WEATHER-TIGHTNESS
Where moisture or weather-tightness issues are identified, the building envelope needs careful assessment and appropriate remedial work.
EXISTING HOMES
Working with existing structures requires careful planning and attention to conditions that may only become visible once work begins.
OUR RECLADDING PROCESS
We take a practical, structured approach to recladding projects, with careful coordination from the initial assessment through to completion.
01-ASSESS
Understand the existing building, proposed scope and any issues that need to be addressed.
03-BUILD
Manage the removal, preparation, remedial work and installation of the new cladding and systems.
02-PLAN
Coordinate the required work, materials, trades and project requirements before construction begins.
04-FINISH
Coordinate the final detailing, finishing and associated works to deliver a complete result.
More than Just the Cladding
A recladding project often involves much more than installing new exterior cladding. Usually there is a new cavity system applied by your architect or designer. We coordinate the building work and specialist trades required around the existing home, keeping the project organised and maintaining clear communication throughout.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Rcladding projects often require a change of cladding materials, upgrading to newer more modern looks. This gives an opportunity to apply new cavity systems to your home. This can help with airflow, weather-tightness and window flashing upgrades improving the overall performance of your building
Coordinating specialist trades is a big requirement throughout a recladd project. This would generally include: Electrical, plumbing, painting, joinery, roofing, scaffold. At Bracey Builders we have a reliable network of sub-trades we like to use.
Dylan remains directly involved throughout the build, keeping communication clear and the project moving. Project management is essential to any type of building project in particular recladding as there are many moving parts and trades invloved.
